Wendy is an Animal Control Officer for Coos County Animal Services. She is originally from Southern California. She is a proud Navy Veteran & earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resource Mgmt from George Fox University. She has served her community for the past 17 years.

Council Chairs:

Vice President of Legislation- Lee Bartholomew (2007-Present) Contact Lee

Lee is a Deputy Sheriff in Douglas County and has been employed in Animal Control for 29 years. He has held numerous offices and positions within OACC since 1995.

Main duties of the VP of Legislation include working directly with state and local lawmakers and acting as a liaison between professionals in the field of Animal Control to ensure their experience and input is taken into consideration.

Vice President of Membership/Public Relations- Sara Wynveen (2017-Present) Contact Sara

Vice President of Training- Brian Austin (2019-Present) Contact Brian

Brian has been employed as the Animal Control Officer for the Springfield Police Department since 2011. He has been an OACC member since 2012.

Main duties of the VP of Training include coordinating regular training opportunities, disseminating upcoming training information, and planning the annual training conference & awards banquet.

Northwest Area Representative- Roger Kadell- Contact Roger

Representing: Clatsop, Columbia, Tillamook, Washington, Multnomah, Yamhill, Clackamas, Polk, Marion, Lincoln, Benton, and Linn Counties.


Eastern Area Representative- Steve Keever- Contact Steve

Representing: Hood River, Wasco, Sherman, Gilliam, Morrow, Umatilla, Union, Wallowa, Jefferson, Wheeler, Grant, Baker, Deschutes, Klamath, Lake, Harney, and Malheur Counties. 


Southwest Area Representative- Steve Church- Contact Steve

Representing: Lane, Douglas, Coos, Curry, Josephine, and Jackson Counties.
